DENR employees’ union new officials take oath

The DENR Caraga Regional Director Nonito M. Tamayo formally officiated the oath taking of DENR Caraga Employees Union (DECAEMU) elected new set of officials during a regular regional staff convocation on December 1, 2015 held at DENR Caraga Covered Court, Butuan City.

The newly elected officials are president Romeo L. Luengas, vice president Joseph E. Langanlangan, secretary Johanna A. Aguilar, treasurer Rachel Y. Sapid, auditor Nelson B. Caranzo, and business/social manager Beverly Mae C. Aparre.

Luengas said that he will continue the plans and program which started by the previous officials especially the health insurance of the members.

DECAEMU was established sometimes in 2002. It is a registered non-partisan and non-ideological organization at the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE). Its main objective is to protect and promote the general welfare, rights and common interest of all its members specifically in development planning and improvement of service delivery at the DENR and assistance to members and/or immediate member of the family in times of hospitalization, death, retirement or separation from employment.
